Hi friends!
Sorry it has been so long in keeping you updated. Well….we still haven't been playing music because I am dealing with a health issue that I'd rather not name here. But it's a long treatment plan. The treatment is working but it still will be a long while until I'm able to play live again. Though Dan and I have been enjoying playing music together on our front porch. We're so thankful that we get to share creating and playing this music together in our lives. It gets us though life's challenges that's for sure and reminds us of the sweetness of life.
AND, in other news, we're up for three New Mexico Music Awards this year! We're very thrilled about that. “Coffin Driver” for Best Americana Song and Best Arrangement of an original song and “The Hangman's Daughter” for Best Vocal Performance. We're looking forward to attending the award dinner and show on June 1st at the Sandia Resort and Casino in Albuquerque. Congratulations and good luck to all the nominees!
